The Brand
Sow is a conceptual vegan restaurant rooted in the idea of 'from seed to spoon'. From ethically sourced ingredients to the creation of delicious plant-based dishes, sustainability sits at the core of the brand's values. The dining experience is designed to feel luxurious whilst remaining warm and welcoming to all, vegan or not!
The Identity
The Sow logo and visual identity are inspired by the brand's tagline 'from seed to spoon.' A custom typeface incorporates details within the serifs, such as a sprouting leaf and a ladle, ensuring the brand’s story is always remembered. Paired with a deep, natural colour palette that reflects Sow’s commitment to sustainability, and photography that highlights and heroes both the dishes and their ingredients, the identity feels elevated yet honest.
Application
Using the leaf shape within the logo, a pattern was created to be applied across multiple touch points, reinforcing brand recognition and consistency. Playful details, such as the menu dishes being photographed on soil, reinforce transparency in the food's journey from ground to plate. Social content further pushes this messaging, heroing the dishes while speaking to customers in a friendly, approachable tone through copy lines such as “Soooow tasty.”
