THE BRAND
Genest is a conceptual at-home DNA testing kit designed to unlock clearer answers about health, helping customers make better lifestyle choices. Using the latest advances in genetic science, the brand turns complex data into insights that feel accessible, reassuring, and easy to understand.
The Identity
I created the Genest logo to combine three key elements: the helix of a DNA strand, a house shape representing the at-home kit, and an arrow symbolising the lifestyle improvements customers can achieve. I paired this with a clean, futuristic typeface and a purple colour palette that feels both medical and friendly, reflecting the brand’s balance of scientific data and approachable, user-friendly design.
Application
By deconstructing the logo, a flexible pattern is created for use across multiple touchpoints. The tone of voice is technical and intelligent yet approachable and friendly, even playful at times. Photography is clean and minimalist, with the bracket shape from the logo used to frame subjects or highlight key information, adding focus and consistency across applications.
